About us

The Bioextra Corporation is a manufacturer and distributor of medicine, health products, food-supplements, teas, etc. We have a wide variety of packaging technology at our disposal, for example: capsule filling, tablet pressing, liquid filling, etc. These operations are carried out at our GMP, ISO and HACCP certified facility. Other than the manufacturing and distributing of our aprox 100 product, we also carry out contract manufacturing the products of our partners. 

Short history

BIOEXTRA Ltd. is a Hungarian private company founded in 1991, the goal of its activity is to provide  customers with medicines, healing products and healing cosmetics suitable for protecting health and beauty on a favorable price. Our slogan BIOEXTRA - HEALTH ON BASIC PRICE reflects this market policy of the company.

The range of products consists of pharmaceuticals, food supplements and medicinal plant based natural products. The production of these products is performed partly by own manufacturing, partly by different subcontractors, but everywhere in compliance with the strictest quality demands (ISO quality management system and GMP quality assurance system). Our suppliers of raw materials are some of the worlds largets pharmaceutical companies, wich is an assurance of quality.

We have started our "BIOEXTRA VITAMIN" program in which we distribute a wide range of modern vitamin products at a favorable price, of course in high quality. The first group of products of the program is VITAMIN E BIOEXTRA series with eight items registered as a drug available without prescription, it has been available since 1995 and was sold in a significant quantity even in that year. The series puts an end to a lack, it contains high dose vitamin E capsules which had been lacking from the offer in Hungary earlier. A special product based on medical consultation is MAGNEVITAL capsule which contains also vitamin E and magnesium. In the end of 1996 we started to issue VITAMIN A BIOEXTRA series consisting of four items as drug only on prescription, partly also putting an end to a lack. The registration as a medicine of VITAMIN B KOMPLEX and MULTIVITAMIN 6 was completed, and that of VITAMIN D BIOEXTRA in 1998.

Another important product is the herb tea series with the brand "DRAGON" which comprises almost the whole range of herbs in Hungary. We produce filter teas in our own ISO qualified manufacture, but our popular anti-adiposis slimming teas from Chinese basic material are made there, too.

Our tinctures are made of the well known herbs of the folklore medicine and healing.

One of our newest product is connected to slimming cures, the Cactuslim capsuled product contains pure plant fibers, more details are available on our pages.

Our classic product, the GINSENG product family is already manufactured in Hungary, using original and strictly checked Chinese basic material.

Our healing products are also popular, such as EPOVIT (Evening primrose) product family, HERBALAX laxative capsule containing exclusively plant agents, and anti-wrinkle MAGIC CAPS for external use, containing vitamin E.

Recently our offer comprises close to a hundred products sold in a framework of contracts agreed with distributors. Almost every distributor of medicine and healing products in Hungary are our business partners.

In constructing our products we always take the demands of our consumers into consideration and we strive for managing a favorable price-value ratio while keeping high quality a number one priority.

With developing new products we’ll go on with our work in protecting health and beauty.
